Sony accused of overcharging Playstation customers
The £5 billion Playstation lawsuit alleges that Sony has breached competition law by abusing its market power, forcing up prices for consumers. A group claim has been submitted to the courts on behalf of the 8.9 million UK consumers that have been ripped off. Are you one of them?

The claim against Sony
This case is being spearheaded by consumer rights expert Alex Neill who is awaiting approval from the Court to bring this claim. Alex Neill is advised by law firm Milberg London LLP and the action is funded by Woodsford. What’s happening with this claim?
Neill filed an application to the Competition Appeal Tribunal in August 2022 to commence collective proceedings. The claim was reviewed by the Tribunal at the certification hearing in June 2023. The Tribunal gave the go-ahead for the claim to go to full trial with Neill representing all the affected consumers.
